At 1:39 PM, an officer and Valpo Fire/Rescue responded to Brandt Hall for a student who was having abdominal pain. Valpo Fire/Rescue transported the student to Porter Regional Hospital.

At 11:34 AM, officers issued a husband of a student a trespass warning for university property. This is in reference to an ongoing domestic case.
Well Being Check
At 11:20 PM, an officer responded to Lankenau Hall for a wellbeing check on a student. The student was okay and did not need any further assistance.

Possession of Marijuana
At 11:50 PM, officers responded to Alumni Hall for a report of an odor of marijuana. Officers located marijuana and paraphernalia. The student was arrested for possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.
January 14, 2016
At 12:27 AM, an officer and Valpo Fire/Rescue responded to Guild Hall for a student having difficulty breathing. Valpo Fire/Rescue transported the student to Porter Regional Hospital.
Hit and Run Vehicle Crash
At 10:33 AM, an officer responded to Parking Ramp 8 for a report of a vehicle that was struck by an unknown vehicle. There were no injuries and a report was taken. The officer checked for a suspect vehicle but did not locate one.
January 15, 2016
At 10:56 AM, a staff member reported receiving disconnected phone calls over a two day time frame. The incident is being investigated.
At 11:27 AM, an FM employee reported someone was living in the shed at a house on Brown Street that is owned by the university. Officers advised the subject and escorted him off the property. The shed and house were secured.

At 9:25 PM, a student reported that she is in fear of her husband and came to Valparaiso to get away from him. Officers are working with the student in this ongoing domestic case. The husband resides in another state.
January 17, 2016
At 1:40 AM, officers and Valpo Fire/Rescue responded to Lankenau Hall for a student who was intoxicated and vomiting. Valpo Fire/Rescue transported the student to the Valparaiso Medical Center.
At 2:32 AM, officers and Valpo Fire/Rescue responded to Scheele Hall for a student in need of medical attention. Valpo Fire/Rescue transported the student to the Valparaiso Medical Center.
