At 5:00 PM, an officer responded to the Christopher Center for a non-campus subject on a computer disrupting others. The person was located and issued a trespass warning for university property.
At 6:51 PM, a student reported receiving telephone calls stating that he had won $10,000.00 but he needed to provide bank account numbers so the money could be transferred to his account. The student did not provide his bank account information.

Possession of Paraphernalia
At 1:00 AM, an officer responded to Brandt Hall for an odor of marijuana. A search revealed paraphernalia and the student was arrested for possession of paraphernalia.
At 6:54 AM, an officer found a shed of a house on Brown Street had been broken in to. Officers are making extra patrols of the area.
At 10:00 AM, a student reported she was having problems with a former boyfriend. An officer spoke to the person, the issue was resolved.

At 1:42 AM, an officer responded to the area of the ARC for a report of a student who made a threat to harm herself. The officer located the student and an assisted her.
False Fire Alarm
At 12:45 PM, officers and Valpo Fire/Rescue responded to Mueller Hall for an activated fire alarm. The alarm was accidentally set off by workers in the south foyer area.
Assist Other Jurisdiction
At 7:08 PM, an officer assisted Valparaiso Police with a vehicle crash with injuries at Sturdy Road and Chapel Drive.
At 8:57 PM, an officer assisted Valparaiso Police with a vehicle crash with injuries at Monroe Street and Greenwich Street.

At 3:00 AM, officers and Valpo Fire/Rescue responded to Alumni Hall for an unresponsive student. The student was intoxicated. Valpo Fire/Rescue transported the student to the Valparaiso Emergency Center.
At 9:00 AM, officers investigated a report of a suspicious person in the construction area on Union Street. Officers are making extra patrols of the area.
At 11:55 AM, an officer responded to the Counseling Center and assisted a student.
At 1:35 PM, an officer responded to Parking Ramp 8 for a report of vandalism to a vehicle. An unknown person threw an egg on a student’s car. There are no suspects and a report was taken.
At 3:10 PM, a student reported the theft of a bicycle from the VUCA. The incident occurred the previous week. Officers are checking for the bicycle while on patrol.
Polar Plunge for Special Olympics is this Saturday. Join us in this great fund raiser. Registration is at noon in the Hill Top Gym. The plunge will be by the Victory Bell. The After Splash Bash will be in the Hill Top Gym.
